Senior Ruby on Rails Developer (e-commerce)

We are opening another position in the Development department at iRonin! We are a software house that implements web and mobile application projects for clients from the USA, Great Britain, Germany, Norway, France, and even Barbados on a daily basis. We use a wide technological stack : Ruby on Rails, Elixir, Go-lang, Haskell, Python, Node.js, Vue.js, React.js, .NET, and many more. We only undertake projects that will be a challenge for us and which we will proudly add to our portfolio.

iRonin was founded by a programmer and from the beginning, our assumption is to implement only those projects that will be developmental for the developer .

The challenges

• Work on tools and systems for research, analysis, and research in the area of UX e-commerce industry.
• Collaborate with a team of researchers who conduct analyses for top brands in the world.
• Take care of existing solutions and new functionalities based on modern technologies.

Your Profile

• You have at least 4-5 years of experience with Ruby On Rails.
• You feel comfortable working with the English language.
• You like working with relational databases.
• Every day you take care of good practices at work (clean code, code review, DRY, YAGNI, etc.).

Nice to have

• Experience in working with the cloud environment.
• Willingness to work with the front-end (TypeScript and NextJS).

Changing the project is possible, it requires consultation with the team leader who will verify the personnel needs in other iRonin.IT projects.

At iRonin.IT, we implement several projects, so the management methods depend on the clients needs. In 90% of cases, it is a version of Scrum, Kanban, or Scrumban. In exceptional cases, we may also undertake Waterfall projects.
