Client from the insurance sector. The main goal of the project is to provide a tool for registering and managing bonds in markets worldwide (US, Europe, Asia, Latin America). The project also supports the claims process and financial analysis for entities/companies operating in the insurance sector.

Required English: minimum B2. We need a communicative person who can take ownership of their work, not just deliver tasks.

Technical Requirements:

• Very good knowledge of Ruby on Rails
• Nice to have: React, Java, SQL, JS
• Willingness to provide on-call support (from 6 AM to 4 PM – this will require 2 hours of on-call duty, the rest will be normal working hours)

Responsibilities:

• Development according to accepted standards
• Creating unit tests
• Active participation in Scrum ceremonies: daily, retro, refinement, planning
• Conducting demo presentations of progress to the internal client
• Supporting the leader and PO in communication with other teams (when it concerns dependencies and technical issues)
• Handling incidents during on-call shifts

Experience Required:

• Solid object-oriented software development skills
• Passion for clean high-quality code
• Knows why we write tests and how to write them
• Experienced with agile methodologies
• Adept at Unix-like environments and command line fundamentals
• Solid understanding of REST
• Deep understanding of HTTP
• Solid background in application security
