On behalf of our Client, a leading Scandinavian company operating within a modern SSC/GBS environment, Randstad is currently looking for an experienced and motivated professional to join their Record-to-Report (RTR) team.

What we expect

  • a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in General Ledger, RTR, or a similar core accounting function, ideally within an SSC/GBS structure;

  • a university degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Professional qualifications like ACCA (in progress or completed) will be a significant asset;

  • solid understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is highly desirable;

  • excellent command of English, both written and spoken;

  • strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail;

  • proven problem-solving abilities and a continuous improvement-oriented approach;

  • proficiency in MS Office and hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP);

  • ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team;

  • excellent time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment;

  • strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a talent for building positive working relationships.

Your tasks

In this role, you will be a vital part of the finance team, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial records. Your daily tasks will include:

  • overseeing and executing the entire month-end closing cycle to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting;

  • preparing, posting, and meticulously reviewing journal entries in alignment with the companys established accounting policies and standards;

  • playing a crucial role in the annual closing activities, including the preparation of year-end reports and financial statements;

  • performing regular balance sheet reconciliations and analyzing accounting data to ensure its integrity and accuracy;

  • mentoring and providing guidance to junior accountants, acting as a subject matter expert for key RTR processes;

  • collaborating effectively with various internal finance departments and business stakeholders to ensure seamless financial operations;

  • serving as a key point of contact for internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and resolving inquiries;

  • actively maintaining and updating process documentation to reflect changes in policies, legislation, and best practices;

  • engaging in various finance-related projects and initiatives aimed at process enhancement;

  • proactively identifying opportunities for process improvement and driving the implementation of innovative solutions;

  • fostering a collaborative and transparent environment within the team and with all business partners through clear and inclusive communication.
