For our Client - an American pharmaceutical company - we are looking for Senior GL Accountant in Warsaw.

Perrigo is bringing an exciting new proposition to the Warsaw market and we would love to hear from Finance professionals with Shared Service Centre experience. Help us lay the foundations of our new Business Services Centre based in Mokotów. We need a diverse group of action-oriented colleagues who have the desire to go beyond the transactional elements of their role and be part of building something truly special!

Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years experience in a Shared Services environment
• Bachelor Degree in Finance, Controlling or Accounting
• Knowledge of Finance in general and General Ledger in particular
• Hands-on experience of Shared Services transition a plus
• SAP Finance experience (nice to have)
• Fluent in English and Polish; additional European languages are an asset
• Practical knowledge of internal controls (SOX) is a plus
• Availability to travel during the Transition phase - and then occasionally

Responsibilities

• Timely & compliant close of general ledger
• Quality of accounting (completeness, accuracy, timeliness, consistency), including data quality
• Timely completion of all period-end activities
• Ensure adequate consideration of local requirements, balanced with global standards
• Support with internal and external audits
• Support in preparation of data for tax filings & compliance
• Follow-up with other teams for any queries – e.g., AR accountant, AP Accountant, FA accountant, etc.
