Senior Risk Specialist with German

The department of Financial Services supports banks, insurance companies, and other financial institutions in leading successful operations in the ever-changing and dynamic world. Interdisciplinary teams of Financial Accounting Advisory Services work in the area of financial, regulatory, and market requirements creating holistic and tailored solutions for our clients. Your financial, regulatory, or quantitative expertise would strengthen our team.

Your key responsibilities

• Audit and consultancy activities with international and German financial institutions
• Consultancy in the areas of risk management, capital markets, and trading
• Advising clients on implementation of regulatory requirements
• Assessment of standard and structured financial instruments
• Close cooperation with the EY Germany team based in Frankfurt am Main

To qualify for the role, you must have

• 2+ years of experience in the banking sector or an audit/consultancy firm
• Experience in risk management, capital markets, governance, or internal controls
• Knowledge of risk management topics and regulations (e.g., SREP, ICAAP, credit risk, market risk, operational risk)
• Master’s degree in economy, banking, finance, or other finance-related fields
• Analytical skills and attention to detail
• Committed team player with a high sense of responsibility
• Very good communication skills in English and German (at least intermediate)
• Professional certification would be an asset
