Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Risk Officer with varying levels of experience, who will contribute to delivering a comprehensive testing framework within Operational and Data Risk. It is a valuable opportunity to become a part of a dynamic team and support the further development of the Controls Management unit.
Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for comprehensive control testing for Operational or Data risks, including test scripts for key controls, determining appropriate test frequency, governing documents, and methodology.
- Analyse and interpret test results, assess control ratings and highlight areas of effective practice and needed improvements across business areas to increase both design and operational effectiveness.
- Identify key controls from inputs by regulators, Business Units and Risk partners.
- Collaborate with Testing teams, Risk Partner teams and other units for control uplift and gap assessments, and identify opportunities for test automation for key controls.
- Support escalation of test results and monitoring for Senior Management and Governing Risk Committees.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in non-financial risk management, particularly operational and regulatory risks.
- Knowledge of Investment Products, Trade Markets or regulatory frameworks such as EMIR, Dodd-Frank, and MiFID II.
- Ability to identify underlying risk drivers and trends, coupled with process and control improvement opportunities.
- Experience in establishing relationships with stakeholders and peers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Higher education and knowledge of any Nordic language considered beneficial.
Benefits
Salary range (if hired in Lithuania): 3,360 to 5,040 EUR monthly based on skills.
