7+ years industry or academic experience in the field of AI.
3+ years experience writing production quality scalable code using Python to build NLP models (working on Information Extraction or LLMs problems will be a plus).
Expert level knowledge working with Python and Deep Learning libraries such as PyTorch or Tensorflow.
Familiar with recent advances in NLP/CV and/or knowledge working with Deep Learning libraries such as PyTorch or Tensorflow is a big plus.
Familiar with recent advances in NLP/CV with deep understanding of the basic classes of ML/DL algorithms (also the underlying assumptions).
Reasonable prior exposure to best practices in the software development lifecycle, and a commitment to implementing these practices appropriately in the context.
High levels of curiosity and eager enthusiasm for open-ended problems. Experience and interest in problem formulation based on relatively abstract information.
Ability to articulate results and complex concepts to leadership.
Must be able to produce solutions independently in an organized manner, work in a team and also be able to leading a team when required.
Ph.D. in Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics or in related fields will be considered as a strong asset.
Proven track record in top-tier conferences from AI/NLP domain will be a strong asset.
