Repairs and tests mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies. Works from drawings, sketches, wiring diagrams and written or oral instructions to understand and perform repair and / or test activity. Ensures work meets established technical, product and quality requirements.
Provides product repair for more complex mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies.
Applies technical understanding and experience to diagnose, assess and resolve difficult equipment and operational issues.
Uses advanced trades mathematic along with complicated drawings, specifications, charts, tables, handbook formulas and other precision measuring equipment and tools.
Monitors technical and process issues, proactively informing the manager and / or team and offering improvement suggestions.
Contributes to the enhancement / modification of existing equipment and procedures.
Assists with implementation of improvement methods and procedures for improved cost and / or quality.
Provides on-the-job instruction and technical assistance to less experienced team members.
Our requirements
Education or equivalent work experience required.
Minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Repair Technician.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with mechanical/electro-mechanical assembly.
