Senior Remote Access and Active Directory Engineer with French

Project information:

• Location: Katowice or Kraków or Lublin or Opole (one from those locations to choose; hybrid model of work - 70% from home)
• Type of employment: Employment contract
• Project language: French and English

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise workplace solutions, including desktop/laptop configurations, mobile devices, and collaboration tools.
• Implement and manage Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) and application delivery solutions (e.g., Citrix, VMware Horizon, Microsoft Remote Desktop).
• Manage and support the deployment of desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS) and applications using tools such as SCCM, Intune, or JAMF.
• Ensure seamless integration of collaboration tools like Microsoft 365, Teams, and Zoom, including ongoing support and troubleshooting.
• Develop and manage device imaging, configuration management, and patch management processes.
• Automate tasks related to user provisioning, software installation, and updates using scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
• Monitor and maintain security policies and access controls on end-user devices, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for escalated issues related to end-user computing environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the digital workplace experience and drive productivity improvements.
• Stay current with emerging workplace technologies and trends, recommending improvements to enhance user experience and productivity.
• Document processes and maintain up-to-date configurations, policies, and troubleshooting guides.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role, managing workplace technology and end-user environments.
• Good level of French and English (at least B2)
• Strong experience with end-user device management tools such as SCCM, Microsoft Intune, JAMF, or equivalent.
• Proficiency with desktop and mobile operating systems (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android).
• Hands-on experience with collaboration platforms like Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Slack.
• Knowledge of virtual desktop solutions (e.g., Citrix, VMware Horizon, or similar).
• Strong understanding of IT security best practices for managing user devices, data encryption, and access controls.
• Familiarity with identity and access management (e.g., Active Directory, Azure AD, Okta).
• Proficiency in scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation of routine tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in managing large-scale desktop and device deployments in a corporate environment.
• Familiarity with mobile device management (MDM) and bring-your-own-device (BYOD) programs.
• Experience with cloud-based workplace environments and solutions.
