about-project :
As a Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer in our company MKS ATOTECH based in Poznan (hybrid role), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our innovative DFS solutions. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated test frameworks and test scripts to validate the functionality, performance, and scalability of our cloud-based applications. You will work closely with software engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
In this role, you will report to the Lead of DFS Development Team.
responsibilities :
Automation Strategy and Framework Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable test automation frameworks using industry best practices and appropriate tools.
Test Script Development: Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, integration, regression, performance, and security testing of web applications, APIs, and cloud-based services.
Test Planning and Execution: Participate in test planning sessions, contribute to the development of comprehensive test plans, and execute automated test suites.
Defect Management: Identify, document, track, and verify defects. Work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD): Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous quality assurance throughout the development process.
Performance Testing: Design and execute performance and load tests to identify bottlenecks and ensure the scalability of our applications.
Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, provide feedback on design and usability, and ensure a high-quality product.
Mentorship and Guidance: Mentor other engineers and share best practices in test automation.
Test Environment Management: Collaborate with DevOps to ensure the availability and stability of test environments.
Reporting and Analysis: Analyze test results, prepare test reports, and provide insights into the quality of the software.
requirements-expected :
Automation Tools and Frameworks: Proven expertise with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, TestNG, Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
Programming Languages: Strong proficiency in at least one programming language relevant for test automation (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C#).
API Testing: Deep understanding and experience in testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman, Swagger, or dedicated automation libraries.
Cloud Technologies: Experience testing applications deployed on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
CI/CD Pipelines: Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) and integrating automated tests into the pipeline.
Test Design Principles: Strong understanding of different testing methodologies, test levels, and test design techniques.
Version Control: Proficiency with version control systems like Git.
English Proficiency: Ability to read and write technical documentation and communicate effectively with colleagues in English.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Proven experience as a Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer or in a similar role.
Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and implement effective test automation solutions for complex applications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
