Overview

Senior QA Engineers lead testing efforts for complex features and projects. They design comprehensive test strategies, build and maintain automation suites, and mentor junior team members. Their work ensures that quality is embedded throughout the development lifecycle. They collaborate across disciplines to align testing with business goals and user expectations. The role requires deep technical expertise, proactive problem-solving, and a strong influence on team practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies.
• Lead QA efforts for small to medium-sized projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
• Develop, maintain and optimize automated test suites.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and share best practices across the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality from planning to release.
• Drive continuous improvements in QA processes, tools, and team workflows.
• Align testing efforts with business objectives and user expectations.

Required Experience and Skills

• Minimum of 6+ years of experience in software testing.
• Proficiency with test automation tools (e.g., Postman, Playwright, Ranorex).
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in testing applications on devices.
• Proficiency in using JIRA and Confluence.
• English B2+, Polish B1+.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong expertise in test planning, execution, and automation.
• Proven experience leading QA efforts in Agile teams.
• Proficiency in test automation frameworks and scripting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
• Deep understanding of the business domain, user workflows, and how they impact testing.
• Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Jenkins and AWS.
