PROJECT:

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer, who will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of products or services through the development and implementation of quality control processes and procedures.

You will also work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues, improve processes, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations for all our web solutions.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of proven experience  in quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and tools with test automation tools and frameworks.
• Knowledge of quality management systems and best practices.
• Experience testing “Big data”  with the following: GCP, Talend, Tableau, API integration  (part of the job will consist in testing the output of our data pipelines).
• Familiarity with industry standard frameworks for web applications (e.g. React, Angular etc.)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Experience Knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Proficiency with creating and executing SQL queries.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

NICE TO HAVE:

• ISTQB, Six Sigma Certificates.
• Experience in Scientific lab.
• Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to evaluate product functionality and performance.
• Conduct manual and automated testing to identify defects and verify that they are resolved.
• Perform regression testing to ensure that new changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
• Document and report defects and track them to resolution.
• Ensure that products or services adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory changes, and make recommendations for compliance.
• Work closely with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and quality expectations.
• Provide feedback and insights to improve product design and functionality.
• Generate reports and metrics related to quality assurance activities.
• Provide training and guidance to team members on quality assurance processes and best practices.
• Maintain documentation related to test plans, test cases, and process improvements.
• Validating data consistency between the front end user interface and back end databases to ensure a seamless user experienceParticipating in agile development processes and attending all scrum-related meetings
