Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Integrated Digital Expert system is a monitoring and diagnostics system. It fulfils both local and remote data access and analytics requirements, as well as local and remote troubleshooting purpose.

Responsibilities

• Work with functional and non-functional software testing, the software test life cycle, and various test design methodologies (functional, performance, accessibility, scenario, etc.).
• Create and execute test cases based on customer and software requirements.
• Set up testing frameworks from scratch and maintain testing pipelines.
• Test backend (API) and data quality, including performance tests and high‑load scenarios.
• Utilize API testing tools such as Postman and Swagger to validate endpoints.
• Interact with databases and write SQL queries for data validation.
• Handle IoT or time‑series data as required by the system.
• Operate within AWS environments (EC2, IAM, Management Console).
  
  
• Communicate clearly in both written and verbal English, providing concise and constructive feedback.
• Identify, recreate, and document interesting software bugs as part of quality assurance.


Requirements

Mandatory Skills

• At least 4 years of creating and executing test cases.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and lifecycle.
• Proficiency with Python 3 and experience building test frameworks.
• Experience with backend (API) testing and data quality validation.
• Familiar with API testing tools such as Postman and Swagger.
• Basic database knowledge and SQL expertise.
• Experience with time‑series data handling.
• Hands‑on with AWS services (EC2, IAM, console).
• Knowledge of performance testing tools.
• Strong soft skills in communication.
• Excellent written and verbal English.
• Creative problem‑solving skills.

Nice‑to‑Have Skills

• AWS IoT Greengrass experience.
• Knowledge of industrial protocols (Modbus, NMEA, MQTT).
