We are seeking Senior QA Manual Tester to build and lead our quality assurance practices, with a primary focus on UI (User Interface) testing in web applications. We need someone confident and experienced to assess our current processes, establish new testing standards, and ensure adherence across the team. You will translate tasks into comprehensive test cases and success criteria, driving quality across multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set and enforce testing standards: Evaluate and redefine our testing framework, focusing on comprehensive QA strategies for UI testing in web apps.
- Develop test cases and plans: Transform tasks and requirements into detailed test cases and success criteria for web applications.
- Perform day-to-day testing activities: Ensure the software packages meet quality standards based on defined requirements. Identify and report bugs, retest resolved issues.
- Ensure adherence: Lead by example to see that team members consistently follow the established QA processes and best practices.
- Manage multiple projects: Oversee the testing process for multiple projects, ensure all integrations are secure and fault-tolerant.
- Documentation & reporting: Maintain clear and thorough documentation of test cases, plans, and reports for stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development team and project managers to understand requirements and support testing efforts. Participate in daily meetings with internal parties.
- Tool expertise: Proficiently use Azure DevOps and Jira for task management, bug tracking, and collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience as a QA Manual Tester with a strong emphasis on UI testing for web applications.
- Technical proficiency: Hands-on experience with testing tools (you will be free to introduce your recommendations here).
- Leadership and initiative: Ability to set standards, enforce processes, and lead QA practices confidently.
- Analytical skills: Strong attention to detail with an analytical mindset to identify potential issues and craft precise test cases.
- Project management: Ability to prioritize and manage QA for multiple projects simultaneously.
- Collaboration attitude: ability to work well in a team.
- Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication in Polish and in English to document processes, test cases, and collaborate with team in Poland and in Norway effectively.
- Proactive attitude: A self-starter who can take ownership of quality assurance and champion best practices.
