Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Lead to take full ownership of the quality strategy in a SAP S/4HANA migration program. This high‑visibility role combines leadership, executive‑level communication and deep testing expertise. The candidate will challenge solutions, protect delivery quality and align business, IT and management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive end‑to‑end QA/Testing strategy (SIT, UAT, regression, cutover).
• Own quality throughout all project streams.
• Challenge architecture and delivery approaches for quality, risk and testability.
• Ensure test coverage for critical processes (e.g., FI, SD, MM, PP, WM/EWM – per scope).
• Plan tests, estimate effort, manage environments and defect governance.
• Provide reliable quality reporting to leadership/steering committees (status, risks, go/no‑go recommendations).
• Early identification and escalation of quality risks (data, integrations, cutover readiness).
• Coordinate multiple test teams, vendors and system integrators.
• Act as trusted QA advisor to Program Management, Stream Leads and business owners.

Leadership & Communication

• Confidence in executive/steering committee communication.
• Translate test status into business impact; formulate clear go/no‑go recommendations.
• Assertiveness in rejecting unrealistic deadlines and quality trade‑offs.
• Strong stakeholder management (IT, business, vendors) and influence without formal authority.

Profile

• Experienced leader with credibility at the board level.
• Technically sound enough to question architects, developers and vendors.
• More than just a Test Manager – owner of program quality.
• Aware of risks, pragmatic in delivery, resilient under large transformation pressure.

Key Requirements

• 5+ years in QA/Testing with leadership roles.
• Experience in at least one full SAP S/4HANA migration or large SAP transformation.
• Strong understanding of:
• End‑to‑end SAP processes.
• Integration testing in complex landscapes.
• Data migration validation.
• Cutover/go‑live readiness.
• Hands‑on defect management (not just reporting).
• Experience leading global/distributed test teams. Experience with tools/techniques is a plus:
• SAP Solution Manager / Focused Build / Cloud ALM.
• Test automation (e.g., Tricentis Tosca).
• Data validation and reconciliation methods.
