As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be a key player in ensuring the quality and reliability of our code. You will work closely with a cross-functional team to develop, implement, and execute test plans and test cases. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying and addressing defects early in the development cycle, promoting best practices, and mentoring.
Working hours: 11:00 - 19:00 CET timezone
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand feature requirements and provide QA input throughout the development lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts to increase testing efficiency and coverage.
- Conduct thorough regression testing to identify and address any potential issues.
- Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, providing technical expertise and best practices.
- Investigate and report on defects, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
Skills & Requirements:
- Very strong attention to detail is essential for high profile projects, understanding of testing techniques and manual testing skills of desktop web/iOS/Android.
- A keen eye for detail and exploration, openness for feedback and diligence in reporting all blockers and time spent on a project.
- Very strong English language skills both written and oral, the ability to write meaningful and explicit test cases and reports.
- Very strong proficiency in BDD, Gherkin and Cucumber.
- Strong proficiency in automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Puppeteer, Gatling). Familiarity with design patterns such as Page Object Model.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript or similar.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with AWS Cloud.
- Independent person that can be trusted to perform the assigned tests diligently and professionally.
