Position Overview:
As a Senior QA Engineer at Playbook Engineering, you will lead and enhance our quality assurance processes, driving improvements in test automation, API testing, and CI/CD integration. You will mentor other team members, define QA standards, and ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards before release. Your role will include test automation, exploratory testing, and collaborating across teams to ensure seamless integration into the product development lifecycle.

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience in quality assurance.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on automated testing, web technologies, and CI/CD integration.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in test automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or Puppeteer, and experience with CI/CD tools, preferably GitLab.
- API and Microservices Testing: Proven experience in testing APIs and microservices, ensuring system reliability and performance.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in TypeScript for test scripting.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement and identifying potential issues early.
- Collaboration Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working closely with cross-functional teams.
- Independent and Organized: Ability to work independently, make decisions, and manage tasks efficiently.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in load/performance testing, preferably using k6 or other tools like JMeter.
- Experience in creating automated tests for mobile applications using Appium.
