Senior QA Automation Engineer (with Big Data)

Essential Functions

1. Participate in design, development, delivery, and support test automation.
2. Implement new tests and collect metrics about auto tests.
3. Constantly improve software quality (evaluate and incorporate new libraries, tools, and technologies; code reviews; refactoring; etc.).
4. Search for simple and robust solutions to complex tasks.
5. Work in an Agile methodology environment where innovation, teamwork, and creativity are the keys to success.
6. Collaborate with a team of QA engineers.

Qualifications

1. Ability to design and develop tools for functional integration tests, including developing mocks and managing test data libraries.
2. Demonstrated high coding skills in Java.
3. 5+ years experience in designing and maintaining test automation tools and frameworks using Java and TestNG.
4. 3+ years of experience with design, development and delivery of ETL pipelines using Snowflake and Dbt Cloud.
5. Strong knowledge of data models and SQL queries.
6. Good understanding of software development methodologies, Git, and CI/CD.
7. Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker, cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
