We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to take ownership of the Android testing lifecycle and help ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable mobile applications.
In this role, you will collaborate with developers, product managers, UX designers, and DevOps teams to define and execute advanced test automation strategies for Android apps. You’ll contribute to architectural decisions, promote quality-focused development practices (like TDD/BDD), and integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines. Your work will directly impact the stability, performance, and usability of mobile products in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Salary: up to 135 PLN net hourly + VAT on B2B contract

responsibilities :
Design, build, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks for Android mobile applications.
Develop test plans, test cases, and scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and ensure early test coverage.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation of code changes.
Execute tests on both real devices and emulators to account for device fragmentation and OS variations.
Apply mobile QA best practices, including parallel execution, UI/UX consistency checks, and platform-specific behaviors.
Troubleshoot complex issues and provide detailed feedback to development teams.
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and release reviews with a quality-first mindset.
Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to the overall testing strategy and tooling decisions.
requirements-expected :
6 years of experience in QA Automation, including at least 4 years focused on Android mobile applications.
Proficiency in Kotlin and experience with Espresso, UI Automator, or similar Android test automation frameworks.
Solid understanding of Android architecture, UI/UX design patterns, and mobile-specific testing challenges (e.g., device fragmentation).
Proven experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with mobile testing tools such as Appium, Firebase Test Lab, BrowserStack, or similar platforms.
Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Understanding of REST API testing tools such as Postman or REST-assured.
Experience or interest in performance, security, or accessibility testing for Android applications.
Exposure to cross-platform mobile testing frameworks (e.g., Flutter, React Native).
Previous experience in the payments industry or with PCI DSS compliance is a plus.
