We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Python, for our Client, a world’s leader in the area of healthcare and nutrition. 

The role requires work in a hybrid mode (1 day per week in the Warsaw office). 

You will be working on designing and developing a backend application from scratch, including proposing the technology stack. This role involves close collaboration with DevOps, frontend teams, and other engineers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the architecture for a small-scale backend application from scratch
• Propose and validate the appropriate technology stack
• Collaborate closely with DevOps teams, frontend developers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions
• Participate in designing and optimizing cloud-based solutions (preferably using Python Lambda)
• Engage in discussions and directly interact with business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates

Requirements

• Deep knowledge and expertise in Python development
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with databases (PostgreSQL, RDS)
• Familiarity with design patterns and best practices in software architecture
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with stakeholders
• English proficiency at B2 or higher

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS Cloud (especially Lambda)
• Interest in and willingness to dive deeper into cloud technologies (with support from the DevOps team)
