For our client in the capital markets industry, we are building an agile team to engage in the development of a centralised solution.

Our technology stack contains Python, SQL, C#/.Net, Messaging (IBM MQ), and reporting (Jasper report + Python based report) and we have processes running both on-prem and in AWS. We have over 30+ AWS services in use (related to Compute, Storage, Database, Code Pipeline, Authentication and Authorization, Notifications etc.)

Responsibilities:

1. Work with other in-house application development teams responsible for payment processes, collateral, accounting, and regulatory reporting processes in the bank.
2. Continuous improvement of the development and release environment, tooling, and processes.

Mandatory Skills Description:

1. Minimum 6 years of hands-on development using Python and SQL.
2. Very strong experience and knowledge in SQL.
3. Good understanding of computer fundamentals - OOP concepts, basic data structures, algorithms, relational algebra, basic understanding of networking, cloud computing, etc.
4. Knowledge of finance - experience with trade flows and trade processes.
5. At least basic experience and understanding of Messaging concepts.
6. Good problem-solving skills.
7. Experience with working in Agile/Scrum projects.
8. Experience working with a global team, good communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills Description:

1. Experience with Jasper.
2. C# knowledge.
3. AWS experience.

Languages:

B2B possible.
