As a Contractor Senior Software Engineer, you will contribute to projects across our Client Workplace Platform - where the users of this platform are a globally distributed team of human agents that perform knowledge work for our clients. This workforce is slated to grow 2x - 3x in the next 12 months. You will work in coordination with your engineering manager and other engineers on your team to improve the systems that our clients interact with. You will identify architectural gaps in your area of influence and propose creative solutions that pay dividends in productivity for your team.

Lead projects with high technical complexity in coordination with your team
Deliver on multiple projects of increasing dependencies in an ambiguous or high-impact area
Uncover and eliminate architectural gaps to accelerate engineering in your area
Drive the teams ability to deliver of high-quality, impactful software solutions

Write, edit and review technical documentation, incident reports, and post-shift daily updates.
Update Engineering handbook and training collateral regularly and knowledge share with peers
Assist team members during on-call schedules
requirements-expected :
○ 5+ years of software engineering work experience
○ 3+ years of hands-on technical management building holistic web-based software solutions, API design and client-server systems
○ Significant experience developing applications in team environments
○ Proficient with executive communication skills - written and verbal, in English
○ Experience working with fully remote teams
○ Demonstrated experience independently leading projects at a quarterly scope
○ Demonstrated experience coordinating engineers on a single team within a project
○ Demonstrated experience authoring and maintaining excellent documentation at the team level
Strong experience with these technologies:
○ Backend using Python Web Frameworks (Flask, Django, FastAPI, etc.)
○ Data Management Systems (PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, Kafka, etc.)
○ Strong understanding of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
○ Cloud Deployment using Kubernetes (with observability)
Nice to have:
○ Frontend using React (React, Next Framework)
In order for the working time to be common for all employees in different time zones, it is mandatory to be at work from 16.00 to 20.00 CEE (4 p.m. to 8 p.m. CEE).
The remaining time is flexible and depends on you.
