We are looking for a highly motivated remote Backend Developer to join Financial Crimes Risk Management practice. You will play a pivotal role in combating financial crime by leveraging advanced server coding techniques. Your expertise in Python and PySpark will be instrumental in developing innovative solutions to detect and prevent illicit activities across various financial crime typologies. This is an opportunity to utilize your analytical acumen and passion for development to safeguard the integrity of the financial system.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
• At least 8 years of experience in backend development in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated programming skills with SAS, Spark, Python, PySpark, R, Node.js, or equivalent languages
• Hands-on experience working with Anti-Financial Crime and Compliance technologies. For example: Transaction Monitoring Systems, KYC/CDD, Sanctions and Wire screening Applications, Network Analysis, Entity Resolution & Identification and Segmentation utilities or Case Management solutions
• Solid working knowledge and familiarity with Palantir Foundry applications, products, and solutions
• Previous work with database technologies and web service technologies
• Experience with API design, development, and data consumption
• Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Server-side development experience
• Open-source or community contributions
• Knowledge of JIRA, Azure DevOp,s and other product management tools
• Understanding of RESTful API design principles
• Familiarity with security best practices for web and mobile applications
• Residing in Poland required
