Our client from Aviation industry needs the support of a skilled Python Developer / Data Engineer to join the product development team. The development team provides comprehensive software solutions to rapidly access and visually transform complex engineering and manufacturing product data.
Responsibilities includes development and maintenance of in-house applications. Team will be based in Poland, but you will be working in distributed, international environment.
This is a long term cooperation and we are looking for 3 specialists, so its a great opportunity to come on board with your friends.
responsibilities :
Developing business logic as needed for developing and consuming API services
API Development, data migration using ETL
Working with Business requirements / design
Collaborating closely with DevOps, QA, and Product Management teams in a Continuous Delivery environment
requirements-expected :
5+ years of experience in software development and data engineering area using Python
2+ years of experience with Spark
Very good knowled of PySpark
Very good knowledge of Databricks
Familiarity with ETL, CI/CD, Shell scripting and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
Knowledge in SQLServer, MSSQL/T-SQL
Experience with: data warehousing, virtual machines
Strong communication skills with previous exposure to distributed global teams is a big plus
A data-driven mindset and experience in using Agile methods

Location: Gdańsk, with some visits in office, at least once per month when you live outside Tricity. More often if you are from Tricity
