Currently, ELESTER is developing in the green energy market. ELESTER creates an innovative, multifunctional energy storage control system for supervision and management that will exceed the clients expectations. The system is to provide access to detailed information about the operation of energy storage and allows control of their elements. The system delivers unique functions for analysis and prediction, enabling effective management, optimizing maintenance costs and ensuring safety.

About the Role: 

Were looking for an experienced Senior Python Backend Developer who will be part of our top talent engineering team. In this position, you will build great products, tackle intriguing challenges, and contribute to our engineering culture. We are currently building our core engineering team - after initial 6 month contract we are willing to offer long-term employment

 

 

Requirements:            

1. 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
2. Strong expertise in Python
3. Experience in building REST APIs with FastAPI or other frameworks
4. Experience with relational databases and ORM (postgress + sqlalchemy)
5. Experience with working with containers (docker, docker-compose)
6. Experience with Git

Nice to have:

1. Experience in working with timeseries and TSDBs (timescaledb, influxdb, etc)
2. Experience in working with IoT ecosystem (MQTT, sensor data)
3. Understanding of microservices architecture
4. Experience with CI/CD environments
5. Some experience with basic frontend frameworks (Vue.js, react)
