Senior Purchasing Specialist – EthosEnergy

Location: Wroclaw, Poland

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Purchasing Specialist to join the team in Wroclaw, Poland. The purpose of this position is to manage general purchasing activities, including Purchase Orders, Product Inquiries (RFIs), Cost Quotations (RFQs), and vendor relations.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage general purchasing activities, including Purchase Orders, RFIs, and RFQs, and maintain and update orders and vendor relationships.
• Receive purchasing requests from internal departments and identify appropriate suppliers to provide required components or services, clearly communicating scopes of work and negotiating price, delivery date, delivery terms, payment terms, and terms & conditions.
• Prepare reports required by management and other departments.
• Collaborate with facilities in both the Eastern and Western Hemispheres.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
• Be available for travel to meet suppliers in person.
• Follow up and expedite suppliers as needed.

Required Skills / Knowledge

• Technical knowledge from the Steam Turbine sector is well appreciated.
• Excellent communication skills in Polish and English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Familiarity with MS Office software.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to work under constant pressure.
• Advanced negotiation skills.
• Agility, inclusiveness, relentlessness, and engagement.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years in procurement; experience in the Steam Turbine sector is preferable.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Physical Requirements

• Office-based.
