Senior Project Planner for Offshore Wind Projects

As our new Senior Project Planner, you will be involved in major projects throughout Europe, Asia and the USA. You will report to the Head of Planning and work in close collaboration with project managers and cross‑functional teams in the Renewables Division.

Your Tasks & Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to take over the lead planner role on some of Renewables Division’s largest projects.

• Supporting management with project time management, assuring that projects are executed on time and key deadlines are met.
• Maintaining proactive communication with other planners and management teams of vendors, consortium partners and clients to ensure that the project programme is aligned continuously with all stakeholders.
• Tracking internal progress from engineering and construction teams, running internal reporting toward Project Management and the company’s Steering Committee, maintaining the project programme in Primavera P6, updating progress, running scenario analysis, and issuing monthly progress reports with accurate and valid data to clients in a concise and timely manner.
• Helping the project team forecast resource demands and ensuring that allocated resources are in line with constant changes of the project time‑schedule.

• Several years of experience from offshore EPC business, preferably in offshore wind or sub‑station EPC.
• Several years of experience using Primavera P6.
• Knowledge of other software: Excel, MS Project is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English, verbal and written.
• Preferably a technical educational background in construction, mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering.

Your place of work could either be at our HQ in Esbjerg or at one of our offices in Copenhagen or Gdynia. The position is full‑time and will involve limited travelling to other Semco Maritime offices, sub‑suppliers and customers.
