The Project Planner plays a crucial role in the project by maintaining a comprehensive, cross-functional perspective. They are responsible for managing and coordinating the flow of information, ensuring its accuracy and consistency across all phases. Their tasks include closely tracking the progress of the schedule, maintaining its integrity, and implementing structured planning systems that support effective decision-making and on-time, high-quality project delivery. The main goal of this position is to ensure that robust planning and scheduling processes are consistently developed, maintained, and applied throughout the projects lifecycle.
responsibilities :
Develop and maintain the integrated master schedule in line with APM Terminals standards
Align and incorporate schedules from engineers, contractors, and suppliers
Identify critical milestones, manage interfaces, and communicate deadlines to stakeholders
Analyze delays, propose mitigations, and support scenario planning
Facilitate scheduling workshops and coordinate with external planners
Monitor procurement timelines and provide schedule performance updates
Use visual tools (e.g., Gantt charts, S-curves) to track progress and highlight risks
Support change, risk, and decision-making processes with up-to-date schedule analysis
Report regularly to project controls and contribute to integrated cost-risk-time assessments
Ensure planning standards, reporting formats, and governance practices are consistently applied
Maintain close communication with all project and terminal stakeholders to ensure alignment
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage dependencies and understand the impact of schedule changes
requirements-expected :
At least 10 years of experience in large-scale construction or complex projects, with exposure to cost, risk, and change management
Minimum 5 years in a dedicated project planning role
A degree in engineering or project management
Solid understanding of FIDIC contracts
Oracle Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project scheduling software knowledge
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (365) and SharePoint
Fluent in English, communicative Spanish
Culturally aware, with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
Technically literate, able to interpret and explain complex concepts clearly
Fluent Polish required
Residing in Poland required
