Senior Project Manager/Release Train Engineer plays a pivotal role in orchestrating the efforts of several development teams of Software Platform’s In-Home Management group to deliver high-quality SaaS product. This hybrid role is responsible for managing the flow of work through the Agile Release Train (ART), ensuring alignment with business priorities, and facilitating the timely, efficiently delivery of high quality product increments and release projects.
responsibilities :
Facilitate SAFe events, guide teams in executing Program Increments (PIs), and ensure successful coordination across Agile teams and Agile Release Trains (ARTs).
Coach Agile teams to improve Agile practices and foster a culture of continuous delivery and continuous improvement.
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of program increments, ensuring that all teams are synchronized and working towards common goals.
Projects Planning & Execution:
Develop, manage, and monitor project plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives, scope, timelines, and budgets.
Oversee the entire solution program, supporting the alignment of content and the prioritization of items in the Program Backlog.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Owners and Architects to analyze requirements and prepare features for go/no-go decisions, providing schedule estimates and resource planning.
Ensure and help maintain a healthy balance of features in the backlog relative to the available team capacity.
Coordinate, oversee, and ensure the complete realization and market introduction of features assigned to a release project.
Track progress of activities from a program perspective and provide regular reports to the Product Management team.
Identify, assess, and manage risks, issues, and dependencies across projects and teams, developing effective mitigation strategies.
Continuous Improvement & Performance Tracking: Lead initiatives to improve team performance, tailor the release process to ecosystem requirements, track key metrics, and ensure the continuous delivery of business value.
requirements-expected :
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in project management of software development projects, with hands-on experience in Agile project management, such as working as a Scrum Master or Release Train Engineer.
Strong technical understanding of software development practices with the ability to challenge and guide development teams.
Deep knowledge of SAFe principles, practices, and roles; Experience in facilitating SAFe ceremonies as a plus.
Proficiency in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to ensure successful project outcomes.
Ability to navigate and resolve complex issues while maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality results.
Demonstrated passion for continuous improvement, with a proven track record of enhancing processes, improving development efficiency, or elevating product quality.
Aptitude for conflict resolution and removing obstacles that hinder team progress.
Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with various stakeholders.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Fluent in English language.
