As a member of the Orbus Professional Services Team EMEA your primary focus will be to engage in consultancy services for existing and new customers. Reporting to the Professional Services Manager EMEA, you will be part of a dynamic, global and supportive team.
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide support, and guidance to our customers during their onboarding phase - to help them get value out of our product and solution offerings fast. During this phase work closely with Orbus’s onboarding team and customer project teams to manage and deliver successful implementations of Orbus products, whilst becoming a trusted advisor to decision-makers throughout the engagement.
- Understand customers use cases and gather customer requirements by asking the right questions. Use your own initiative to evaluate requirements, to design and advise customers how to make best use of services and solutions, in a way that will best enable them to achieve their objectives.
- Configure and optimize Orbus product and solutions in line with customer requirements. Test, and hand over functional documentation for solution configurations that satisfy generic and customer specific requirements.
- Run training courses and build custom training material tailored to customer usage. This includes evaluating training delivery methods and supporting blended learning approaches to facilitate knowledge transfer.
- As SME and senior consultant, mentor customers through their Enterprise Architecture journey and other architecture initiatives, using your extensive EA expertise across a number of different corporations and government utilities.
- Conduct workshops and consultancy meetings with customers to advise and support them throughout the full lifecycle. Apply Orbus best practices to continue fostering adoption of implemented solutions and work closely together with Customer Success Managers and Account Managers to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Deliver engaging, informative presentations and demonstrations of Orbus products and solutions and an ability to communicate the Orbus offerings to CTOs and CIOs in the target audience.
- Work with internal specialists and Professional Services teams to package best practices and lessons learned into thought leadership, methodologies, and published assets.
- Advocate for customer needs in order to overcome adoption blockers and provide internal feedback on how Orbus can better serve our customers. Interact with Product Development Team to drive product enhancements based on your field experience.
Essential:
- Experience of Consultancy, preferably experience of Consultancy within a software driven environment or professional services consultant role.
- Service oriented with the motivation to meet tight deadlines and to perform individually whilst working as part of a dynamic and global team.
- Ability to clearly articulate and demonstrate value proposition to customers through professional services engagements.
- Attention to detail and ability to absorb technical information and communicate this clearly to a varied audience.
- Excellent inter-personal skills, the ability to influence others and identify key information.
- Be willing to take initiative in problem identification and solution provision.
- Experience of working with Sales Leads and Project Managers to ensure every customer receives an exceptional customer journey.
Desirable:
- Master’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, related field of study or equivalent.
- Experience in Enterprise Architecture initiatives and using Enterprise Architecture platforms.
- Willingness for up to 50% travel as part of onsite consulting engagements.
