Senior Product Manager – PRO Risk and Sustainability

Core Responsibilities

  • Strategic Vision & Alignment: Set the product’s strategic vision, place the customer at the center, and ensure team priorities support business outcomes across product, technical, and enabling functions.
  • Product Backlog Management: Prioritize squad work to realize the vision and align strategy.
  • Execution and Accountability: Resolve impediments, manage technical debt and risk, drive continuous improvement, facilitate communication between unit leads, platform lead, and digital leads, and coordinate delivery to meet company strategy, commitments, and goals.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Accountable for product success from conception to decommissioning.
  • Identify domain needs and develop/validate product concepts.
  • Build a business case for the product.
  • Oversee product build and launch; ensure availability, stability, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (product development, marketing, finance, legal, manufacturing, operations, sales).
  • Drive agile best practices for delivery and continuous planning (e.g., sprint planning).
  • Co‑create user stories aligned with backlog prioritization.
  • Conduct market opportunity identification, competitive analysis, sales enablement, and monitor domain performance.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Identify key stakeholder groups.
  • Balance strong opinions to deliver value.
  • Build trust by understanding and meeting stakeholder needs.

Product Strategy

  • Provide strategic leadership with end‑to‑end ownership of products.
  • Plan and optimize capabilities to achieve business outcomes efficiently.
  • Apply strong strategic planning, decision‑making, and influencing skills.

Product Discovery & Delivery

  • Create comprehensive product roadmaps to clarify user needs and requirements.
  • Track and report progress against 90‑day outcomes and overall product health.
  • Plan and manage product delivery while streamlining the backlog.
  • Monitor user feedback and metrics to enhance user experience and business value.
  • Leverage Design Thinking methodology for usability, feasibility, business fit, and value testing.

People & Collaboration

  • Communicate and collaborate proactively with product users and stakeholders.
  • Foster effective cross‑functional collaboration for valuable product delivery.
  • Maintain strong relationships with colleagues in product management and engineering.
  • Mentor junior product managers to improve management and agile practices.

Who You Are

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or minimum 4 years of equivalent practical experience.

Professional Experience:

  • 5+ years as a Product Manager.
  • 5+ years with procurement processes, supplier management, risk and sustainability, supplier performance, and supplier relationship management.
  • 2+ years with Agile and DevOps practices.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Product management expertise.
  • Technology enablement in procurement (supplier management, risk, sustainability, lifecycle, relationship).
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Team collaboration skills.
  • Deep understanding of SDLC and modern development practices.

Preferred

  • End‑to‑end procurement lifecycle experience (Master Data, Buying, Payments) with SAP ECC, SAP Ariba, Esker.
  • Cloud proficiency (Databricks, Azure Storage) and integrations via MuleSoft, Azure Integration Services (API Management).
  • Data analysis and reporting skills to drive product decisions.
  • Leadership through influence across cross‑functional teams.
  • Design Thinking, user‑centered design, and user analysis experience.
  • Management of initiatives against key metrics.
  • Strong analytical, management, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Experience building product vision, roadmap, strategy, and competitive analysis.
  • Proven track record delivering digital solutions in a complex global environment.
  • Strategic planning and decision‑making skills with adaptability to research and industry trends.
  • Ability to measure and communicate business value of proposals and deliverables.
