PURPOSE OF THIS ROLE

The purpose of this role is to shape the direction of a product ensuring it meets customer needs, aligns with the company objectives, and achieves success in the market.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACTIVITIES

  1. Define the long-term vision for the product and establish a roadmap to achieve it.
  2. Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  3. Use market insights to identify opportunities and challenges, and inform product decisions.
  4. Develop and communicate a comprehensive product roadmap that aligns with business priorities and customer needs.
  5. Prioritize features and enhancements based on strategic goals and market demand.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, operations, finance, and customer support, to ensure a unified approach to product development and delivery.
  7. Clearly define and communicate product requirements to development teams, ensuring a shared understanding of objectives and expectations.
  8. Work closely with engineering teams to deliver high-quality products on time and within scope.
  9. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to ensure successful product launches and market adoption.
  10. Use data and analytics to track product performance and identify areas for improvement.
  11. Identify potential risks and challenges associated with the product and develop mitigation strategies.
  12. Proactively address issues and adapt strategies to changing market conditions.
  13. Perform other tasks assigned by a manager.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  1. A masters degree in a relevant field such as business, marketing, engineering, or computer science.
  2. Minimum 8 years of experience in product management.
  3. Deep understanding of the fintech industry (minimum 3 years of experience).
  4. Very good knowledge of English – minimum B2.
  5. Minimum 4 years of experience in an agile methodology environment.

  1. The ability to understand and communicate effectively with technical teams.
  2. Strong leadership skills and experience managing cross-functional teams.
  3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  4. The ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts to various stakeholders, including executives, team members, and customers.
  5. Ability to interpret and analyze data to make informed decisions and measure product success.
  6. A customer-centric mindset with a deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to translate those needs into product features.
  7. Certifications related to product management and agile methodologies as an added value.
