This role provides research and development of design of Tablet Platform in Chocolate Category (Growth, QI, Brand Maintenance). It can also include projects from Productivity and Process implementation, providing processes to ensure product safety and consumer satisfaction.

As a Product Development Senior Scientist you will:

• Work independently as leader for New Product Development and Reformulation projects in line with R&D, marketing and manufacturing requirements.
• Conduct pilot plant and factory trials.
• Plan, lead and conduct development activities (e.g., product shelf-life testing, designing for quality, consumer test preparation, etc.).
• Identify and drive new ideas and programs, and sell them to the appropriate business partners by translating technical information for non-technical business partners.
• Obtain, understand and interpret consumer insights and commercial information by using digital simulation models.
• Create and maintain accurate consumer-led specifications.
• Proactively identify complex technical or business problems and create and implement solutions.

To be successful in this role you need to have:

• 5+ years experience in the Food industry with proven records of multiple new product development.
• Master’s degree in Food Science/Technology/Chemistry.
• Understanding of HACCP and GMP.
• Good knowledge of food manufacturing technologies, ingredients, and ability to operate the equipment.
• Capability to work independently on product development projects and influence cross-functional teams.
• Ability to plan and execute projects in a timely manner.
• Proven experience in managing senior stakeholders with strong influencing capabilities and collaboration skills.
• Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and excellent organization skills.
• Fluent English (both written & spoken).
• Any other European language will be treated as an asset.

We offer a fixed-term contract for 15 months.
