The New Verticals team focuses on building the next growth engine for the Group, creating new experiences for customers to discover and engage with physical products. This role holds accountability for end-to-end design projects and helps establish processes that aid in the success of the team and organization. To deliver these services, the provider will work with the Global and North America Design leads and business stakeholders in innovation, Product, Brand, and DesignOps.
The role involves coordinating communications, managing resources, driving the project intake process, and leading design through the logistics of delivering outstanding quality outcomes. This role provides the opportunity to co-create operational models that lead to the creation of value for customers.
This role does not include people management responsibilities.

Brand Experience Creation: Lead the design and development of new brands from concept to execution, ensuring a cohesive and compelling user experience across all touchpoints.
Market Exploration: Identify and explore new verticals and opportunities for New Ventures expansion, conducting market research and user analysis to inform design decisions.
User-Centered Design: Employ user-centered design principles to create intuitive, engaging, and delightful product experiences.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, marketers, and other stakeholders to align design strategies with business goals and technical requirements.
Prototyping and Testing: Develop high-fidelity prototypes and conduct usability testing to validate design concepts and iterate based on user feedback.
Design Leadership: Provide technical guidance and support to other designers, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement within the design team. Design flows and experiences (UX/UI) that are simple and elegant.
Trend Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in product design.
Documentation and Communication: Clearly communicate design concepts and rationale through presentations, detailed documentation, and design reviews.

Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in product design, with a proven track record of designing successful products and brands.
Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Design, HCI, or related experience in the field.
Technical Skills: Mastery of Figma and fluency with other digital design and prototyping tools. Strong understanding of design systems, UI/UX principles, and front-end development technologies.
Design Excellence: Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics. Skills and expertise in executing and critiquing visual design, interaction design, UX writing, UI design, and animation.
Industry Knowledge: Experience with e-commerce. Bonus for experience within subscription models. Strong experience in Agile work environments is required.
Communication: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and decisions effectively.
Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
