Senior Product Designer – Lodz, Poland at Speechify

Mission

The mission of Speechify is to make sure that reading is never a barrier to learning. Over 50 million people use Speechifys text‑to‑speech products to turn whatever they’re reading – PDFs, books, Google Docs, news articles, websites – into audio, so they can read faster, read more, and remember more. Speechifys text‑to‑speech reading products include its iOS app, Android app, Mac app, Chrome extension, and web app. Google recently named Speechify the Chrome Extension of the Year and Apple named Speechify its 2025 Design Award winner for Inclusivity.

What Youll Do

• Pitch, prototype, test, build, ship, and refine new features
• Refine UX/UI patterns across iOS and Android apps
• Rethink onboarding and core user flows
• Influence the product roadmap
• Refine process and help shape the design organization

An Ideal Candidate Should Have

• Experience demonstrating research, discovery, prototyping, and delivery of consumer‑facing products across multiple platforms
• Product thinking; understand strategy, articulate what and why as well as how, embrace analytics and work side‑by‑side with PMs
• Customer‑centricity; comfortable talking with customers and using their feedback in the design process
• Collaboration; inspire, play, and negotiate with opinionated PMs, engineers, and executives
• Craft; skilled at typography, information design, micro‑interactions, curious about audio, understand what’s feasible in iOS, Android, and the browser
• Communication; articulate and able to explain ideas at various resolutions, ask as many questions as answer, writing matches design detail
• Focus; high‑growth startup, busy remote team, know when to engage or be heads‑down
