Purpose of the Role:
To design best-in-class experiences of merchants and users in all customer journeys.
Responsibilities and Key Activities:
- Designing user experience features and user flows, and testing them heavily with end users
- Planning, supervising and conducting user research (qualitative and quantitative)
- Transforming ideas into products of user-friendly interfaces and communication
- Creating wireframes, mockups and clickable prototypes for desktop and mobile screens
- Bringing ideas to improve the experience with PayU products and services
- Maintaining the highest standards of design and applying the best practice
- Cooperating with colleagues from different teams in and outside the region: product, development, customer support, marketing, legal, treasury, sales, external partners
- Other UX-related tasks requested by direct manager
Qualifications and Experience:
- 7+ years of professional design and research experience
- 5+ years of financial or e-commerce industry experience, designing for business or consumer focused products at scale
- 5+ years of experience designing solutions focused on inclusivity and accessibility
- Multiple years of experience owning and driving complex projects
- Experience building design systems
- Proficient in Figma, Miro (or other UX/UI design tools)
- A strong desire for creative problem-solving, exploring customers’ painpoints, needs and desires
- Fluent communication (spoken and written) in English
