Stryker is seeking a Process Safety Engineer to join our expanding team supporting the development of our greenfield manufacturing site in Skawina.

What will you do?

• Supervise process safety for new projects
• Conduct employee training related to the safety of new processes
• Participate in occupational risk assessments for newly designed workplaces
• Advise and collaborate on compliance monitoring to mitigate risks
• Perform risk analysis for new processes, inspecting working conditions and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
• Analyze near misses and supervise safety acceptance of new and transferred machinery
• Supervise fire and explosion safety measures for new processes
• Identify and oversee environmental permitting for new processes
• Supervise subcontractors regarding health, safety, and environmental protection
• Manage daily EHS activities at the plant

What do you need?

• Proficiency in English for reading technical documentation and communication
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
• Higher technical education in occupational health and safety, environmental protection, environmental engineering, fire protection, or related fields, with postgraduate studies in occupational health and safety
• Knowledge of legal requirements for occupational health and safety, fire safety, and environmental protection
• Practical skills in risk assessment methods
• Practical knowledge of process safety
• Practical knowledge of fire protection, especially ATEX-related processes
