Senior Process Engineer – 3Shape (Szczecin, Poland)

3Shape is a cutting‑edge Danish technology firm producing medical devices that improve patient lives worldwide. We are hiring in Szczecin for a Senior Process Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first‑line support for production across all lines.
• Identify and implement long‑term initiatives to improve FPY, reduce operating costs and increase process efficiency.
• Seek optimisation solutions for production processes (line balancing) to reduce manufacturing costs.
• Mentor junior process engineers and line engineers in optimisation, data analysis and continuous improvement.
• Ensure flow continuity on the production line.
• Participate in line design for new processes/products. Act as expert in strategic projects related to manufacturing technology development and process transformation.
• Standardise processes within the specialist area.
• Provide technical support and prepare mounting instructions, including approval.
• Support line engineers in assessing modifications to mounting instructions requested from other areas.
• Participate as an expert in risk assessment of production processes and implement mitigation actions.
• Co‑ordinate the implementation of mitigating actions arising from pFMEA.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role.
• Higher education in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Knowledge of chemicals used for cleaning and bonding.
• Experience with manual and automatic bonding processes.
• Experience in a production assembly firm handling small components.
• Experience with material data sheets.
• Experience in validating bonding processes.
• Experience performing risk analysis (pFMEA).
• Proficiency with SolidWorks is a plus.
• Intermediate English language skills.
