Consult and Innovate: Partner with sales teams to analyze complex customer needs and craft tailored solutions that deliver both technical and business value.
Simplify and Communicate: Effectively translate technical concepts into clear, compelling messaging that can be easily articulated to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strategies and Support: Engage with customers to assess their current state, document key metrics, and contribute to business case development, ensuring sales teams are equipped with valuable insights.
Demonstrate Impact: Deliver engaging presentations, live demonstrations, and proof of concepts that highlight the customer value of BMC"s solutions.

Mainframe Expertise - 5+ years of experience with IBM Z Mainframe in a presales or related technical role.
Solution Vision - Ability to conceptualize and articulate the "art of the possible" based on a client"s technical architecture.
Technical Mastery - Strong knowledge of z/OS mainframe operations, including TSO, JCL, ISPF, SDSF, RACF, HSM and DFDSS.
Storage & Cloud Awareness - Basic understanding of storage hardware/software, cloud storage, object storage, NAS, and SAN.
Cross-Platform Familiarity - Foundational knowledge of Linux OS and shell commands.
Networking Basics - Understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL, and VPN principles.
Engaging Communication - Proven ability to craft and deliver compelling technical demonstrations.
Problem-Solving Mindset - Strong analytical skills with a solution-oriented approach.
Teamwork & Autonomy - Ability to thrive in both team-based and independent work environments.
Language Proficiency - Fluency in English is required.
