Senior Power BI & Cloud Data Reporting Engineer (Azure/AWS)

Your responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain end-to-end Power BI reporting solutions.
• Build new, visually compelling dashboards aligned with business and operational requirements.
• Develop optimized Power BI dashboards for mobile usage.
• Write and execute complex queries to support reporting and analytical workloads.
• Validate and test reporting components to ensure accuracy, consistency, and high reliability before release.
• Continuously improve dashboard performance and maintain strong system stability.
• Recommend enhancements to reporting capabilities and extend analytical functionality based on business needs.

Our requirements

• 5+ years of commercial experience working with Power BI, including building and optimizing dashboards, reports, and advanced visualizations.
• Strong Excel skills, including data manipulation, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, and integration with Power BI for seamless data sourcing.
• Practical experience using Microsoft Forms and connecting responses to Power BI for real-time insights.
• Solid experience working with Jira in reporting or project environments.
• Familiarity with Azure data sources (Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake) and secure dataflow management.
• Competency in integrating Power BI with AWS data sources such as Amazon RDS or Redshift via direct connections or APIs.
• Strong data modeling competencies, including DAX for calculated measures, KPIs, and complex business logic.
• Hands-on experience with ETL processes using Power Query and Power BI transformation tools.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with business stakeholders, understanding requirements, and delivering aligned reporting solutions.
• Knowledge of data security, privacy, and compliance best practices in Azure and AWS environments.
• Experience designing and managing workflows in Power Automate to support automated processes, alerts, and report distribution.
