ERGO Technology & Services S.A. (ET&S S.A.) was established in January 2021 following the integration of ERGO Digital IT and Atena into one entity, leveraging both companies’ strengths and best practices. As a part of ERGO Technology & Services Management AG, the technology holding of ERGO Group AG, we support millions of internal and external customers with state-of-the-art IT solutions to everyday problems.
In October 2022, ET&S S.A. expanded its scope of operations by creating a Business Services unit to contribute in a new way to the growth of ERGO’s business. Acting as a co-partner and internal consultant, it adds non-IT value and supports the development of the entire ERGO Group, currently offering skills in reporting, analysis, actuarial, and input management. How you will get the job done
- supporting strategic/complex Project/Program Managers in tracking statuses of program deliverables and milestones, controlling and reporting on the progress
- ensuring deliverables and documentation related to organizational framework are in place
- outputting project status and other regular or on-demand report
- implementing, coordinating, and improving project Governance arrangements and communication
- supporting Project/Program Managers in budget preparation
- working as a part of a bigger PMO team, potentially leading one
- managing PPM Tool (our E2E project management instance)
- performing project resource management-related tasks and resolving related issues
- ensuring aligned processes are implemented and project management is conducted in line with the organizations standards
- evaluating project management maturity and recommending improvements if necessary
- supplying the know-how on specific PMO standards, tools, techniques, processes, procedures, methodologies, process models, and compliance to new Project Managers
- cooperating with numerous other departments, and international colleagues on a common goal of excellent IT project delivery
- shaping the future of the PMO team as well as general practices by participating in internal initiatives
- acting as a coach for Junior and mid-PMO roles in dedicated projects and teams
Skills and experience you will need
- fluency in German and English (preferred knowledge of insurance, IT, finance, infrastructure terminology)
- minimum Bachelors University degree
- 8+ years of experience in the field of PMO (preferred in IT-related environments)
- ease at working in a multinational environment using a foreign language daily
- proven track of E2E participation in more complex projects/programs or portfolio management office experience
- advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- PMI / PRINCE or similar certification
- experience in working with Agile or Waterfall methodology
- experience in the usage of SharePoint, Confluence, Teams, JIRA, and PPM tools
- strong analytical mindset with a focus on attention to detail
- proactive, issue-solver type of attitude, ability, and drive to learn new expertise in a fast-paced environment
- strong experience in stakeholder management accompanied by a high level of interpersonal communication skills
- experience in creating, improving processes, and drafting guidelines
