As a successful Senior Platform Manager, you will run and improve the critical IT services that power our business. You will drive adoption, onboard new users, and increase service availability. You will build expertise across our platform to build, execute, and automate runbooks against services running in private and public clouds as well as across datacenters. Your work will support Acxiom developed services, automation, testing, deployment, file transfer, public APIs, and ongoing operations.
responsibilities :
Install, configure, and administer production services with defined SLAs
Establish application / domain specific expertise
Build and execute service runbooks
Provide on-call support for business services
Possess a sound understanding of Acxiom functional and business objectives
Collaborate with other engineers and architects
Provide advanced technical expertise, oversight and accountability for outages
requirements-expected :
Experience with managed file transfer systems (SFG, , etc.)
Experience with API Mgmt solutions (Apigee, etc.)
Experience with Development tools (Jenkins, Nexus, GitHub, etc.)
6+ years domain (software or systems engineering) experience
2+ years production operations and troubleshooting
2+ years leveraging configuration management tools (Chef or similar)
2+ years JavaScript, Python, or Ruby development
2+ years using source control
