As a Spacelift partner Semantive provides professional services to enterprise customers who want to blend in Spacelift into their cloud platforms. 

We are seeking a talented Senior Platform Engineer eager to join us on this mission.

Senior Platform Engineer (6-months fixed term contract)

What will you be doing?

• Help customers scale IaC processes through Spacelift adoption
• Perform assessments of on-prem and cloud environments
• Provide technical assistance to customers in the area of Cloud/DevOps/SRE
• Deploy and configure Spacelift private workers to enable job execution in the following environments: AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-prem.
• Develop a virtual envelope capable of embedding various Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks supported by Spacelift (such as Terraform, Ansible, etc.)

You must have:

• 4+ years of professional experience, minimum 2 years in Senior Platform Engineer role.
• Experience in writing automation code in Python.
• Experience in building platforms used by other engineers.
• Experience in AWS is a must, Azure/GCP is a big plus. 
• Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD.
• Experience with IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible. 
• Experience with IaC scaling tools like Terraform Enterprise/Cloud, Spacelift.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker, Kubernetes.
• Experience with monitoring, logging and tracing solutions.
• Experience with Hashicorp Vault or similar tool is a big plus. 
• Professional/expert level cloud certification is a big plus.
