Responsibilities

  • Validate the trial runs executed by the local vendors and identify discrepancies
  • Resolve discrepancies with technical and/or business personnel, implement corrective measures, and retest as required
  • Prepare and process on-cycle payrolls
  • Prepare and process off-cycle payrolls including severance packages
  • Reconcile, balance and transmit vendor and bank interfaces/reports of payroll related data
  • Ensure accurate and timely payment to Primos and third parties (local authorities and vendors)
  • Respond to inquiries within service level agreements
  • Serve as the point of contact for local payroll vendor(s)
  • Complete SOX controls to ensure data integrity and accuracy
  • Prepare/review journal entries related to payroll and liaise with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate payroll-related P&L and balance sheet accounts
  • Maintain process documentation and updates for owned processes
  • Lead/perform annual preparation and monthly tracker of Primo Investment file and act as POC for Structure Cost team
  • Lead/exe [sic cute process improvement and process excellence projects within the Payroll team

Skills

  • Experience in a Shared Services Center handling multi-country payrolls (at least 3 years)
  • University degree in Business/Finance/Accounting/Human Resources or related discipline
  • Fluent English. Other languages (French, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, German, Spanish, etc.) are a plus
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of accounting/finance at an intermediate level
  • Preferred: HR Payroll or Accounting experience; understanding of payroll legislation (tax, social security, retirement, pension and other regulatory requirements)
