Senior Payment Specialist

Your responsibilities

  • Ensure timely and accurate execution of outgoing transfers and payouts,
  • Ensure proper and effective governance of tasks and processes with reference to internal policy and external regulations,
  • Meet the SLA for supervised processes,
  • Take responsibility of KPIs and the service delivery,
  • Coordinate the daily routine of work for the team,
  • Assure that all procedures and manuals are in place and up to date,
  • Cooperate with Operations team, Finance, IT Product or/and 3rd party providers in developing/implementation of tools supporting processes,
  • Support any project initiatives developing the area,
  • Identify any risks in the processes handled and propose preventive measures,
  • Report daily and periodically on executed processes.

Our requirements

  • 3+ years experience in similar role in payments industry (banks and/or payments institutions),
  • Proved record of introducing and/or standardizing processes and service delivery,
  • Working knowledge and understanding of process related activities, i.e. building target operating models, establishing & optimizing processes, deploying automated solutions,
  • Experience in managing projects, engaging key stakeholders to provide frequent status updates with the ability to resolve or appropriately escalate issues,
  • Knowledge of ITIL 4 and Six Sigma is a plus,
  • Working knowledge of payouts and payments schemes, solutions and products; starting with banks and going beyond, including local, global and cross-border landscape,
  • Proficient knowledge of payments industry,
  • Project Management experience,
  • Advanced spreadsheet skills,
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English,
  • Working knowledge of process modeling tools,
  • Ownership and accountability,
  • Ability to work proactively and independently,
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills,
  • Good interpersonal skills,
  • Ability to work with deadlines and under pressure.
