For our client, one of the the largest bank having a strong market position in the Northern Europe region, we are looking for a specialist for the position of Senior Oracle Database Engineer.

The DB Engineer for the 3.9 Continuous Service for Oracle-based Applications will be responsible for enabling new features across the company’s Oracle environments. This includes conducting integrity testing, validating applications, troubleshooting and resolving issues after changes, and providing support for any problems that arise post-rollout. The role will also involve preparing rollback plans and implementing immediate corrective actions in case of failures in business-critical databases, ensuring system stability and continuity.

• 10+ years of experience managing Oracle Databases (versions 12c to 19c), with expertise in RAC and Data Guard.
• Hands-on experience with Linux operating systems.
• Proficiency with Oracle management tools such as Data Guard, RMAN, and Data Pump.
• Strong understanding of architecture design principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Practical experience managing Oracle in a production RAC (ASM) environment (particularly version 19c).
• Knowledge and experience with Oracle GoldenGate and FSFO, including troubleshooting and observers.
• Strong understanding of storage systems and processes like change management and incident management.
• Familiarity with Oracle Support Request (SR) handling and OEM architecture.
• Self-starter with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
