Senior Node.js Engineer

Your responsibilities

• Design and develop backend systems with an emphasis on scalability and performance
• Collaborate on technical and product requirements, define CI/CD workflows, and establish coding standards
• Provide architectural direction and lead technology evaluations and decisions
• Mentor and support team members in solving technical challenges and career development
• Facilitate technical discussions, conduct regular code reviews, and lead engineering sessions
• Continuously improve team workflows and Agile development processes

Our requirements

• 5+ years of experience in backend development for scalable, high-performance applications
• Expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS
• Solid experience with Angular, PostgreSQL, and Docker
• Hands-on knowledge of Git and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban), using tools like JIRA and Confluence
• Strong communication and mentoring skills; ability to lead by example
• Self-driven, with a desire to grow into architectural or managerial roles over time
• Conversational German language skills
• Experience in the automotive industry
