About the role:


Looking for a Senior .NET Developer to build software applications with .NET technologies, such as .NET MVC, C#, and more. You will be responsible for designing, coding with standard practices, testing applications and maintaining software throughout its lifecycle.




Responsibilities:

  • Design maintainable, extensible components for a world-class fintech software suite.           
  • Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages              
  • Develop automated tests for code under development.               
  • Maintain code for various .Net applications and resolve any defects in systems.      
  • Revise, update, refactor, and debug code.             
  • Improve existing software.             
  • Develop API and code documentation for systems under development.                  
  • Monitor everyday activities of the system and serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support.                
  • Ensure adherence to development standards and practices


Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
  •  Expertise in the MS Entity framework.
  •  Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, .Net MVC, and web APIs.
  •  SQL Server schema design, stored procedures, and table creation.
  •  Familiarity with architectural patterns such as Model-View-Controller (MVC).
  •  Familiarity with working of asp dot net core application.
  •  Test framework automation experience (Nunit, Xunit, Mstest).
  •  .Net core command, framework, and build experience.
  •  Knowledge of secure coding principles (OWASP, privilege escalation).
  •  Azure know-how (App Service, Service Bus, SQL, Monitor, etc.).
  •  Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC).
  •  Experience with alerting mechanisms for API’s in case of any failures.
  •  Understanding of Agile methodologies.
  •  Experience with concurrent development source control (Git).
  •  B.S. Computer Science degree or related degree.
  •  JavaScript and HTML knowledge.
  •  Excellent communication skills.
  •  Ability for critical thinking & creativity.
  •  Having a systematic and logical approach to problem-solving, team working skills.


Nice-to-haves:

  • SPA framework experience (React, Vue, Angular).           
  • Fintech experience.
