The primary location for this role is the Blue Water Shipping’s office in Gdansk. We encourage flexibility and hybrid work, but we expect our team members to meet at the office some days every week.

As a Senior Developer on the Integration team, youll lead the charge in designing, creating, and maintaining seamless integrations between systems, whether its business-to-business or application-to-application. Your expertise will transform intricate technical details into practical, real-world solutions, making complex concepts both accessible and actionable. You will have chance to collaborate closely with multiple application teams, playing a crucial role in the end-to-end process to ensure efficiency, reliability, and alignment with Blue Waters needs.

Practicalities:

The primary location of this role is on-site at the office in Gdansk. 

Blue Water Shipping is headquartered in Esbjerg Denmark. IT development teams are in Esbjerg and Gdansk. Location of this role will be placed in Gdansk. You should expect 3-4 travels a year to the HQ in Esbjerg, Denmark.

• Engineer or Masters degree in an IT related field or equivalent IT experience.
• .NET Development: Proficient in utilizing the .NET Core framework to build robust and customized ap-plications that fulfil specific integration needs.
• Integration Technologies: Experienced in working with various integration technologies, including RESTful APIs, FTP, and Message Queues 
  Version Control and DevOps: Familiarity with version control systems (such as Git) and continuous in-tegration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment process-es. You know how a mature software development life cycle should look like.
• Experience with Azure Cloud services: Storage, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Key Vault, and Service Bus
• Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting: Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve integration is-sues efficiently, minimizing downtime and ensuring smooth operation of integrated systems.
• Self-motivation, Autonomy: You know how to find solutions to complex problems without additional oversight. You have a strong drive and initiative to take charge before others do. You have good self-management skills.
• Collaborative Team Player: Effective communicator and team player, capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and stakeholders, to deliver integrated solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile environments, delivering iterative solutions, and adapting to changing requirements and priorities.
• At least 5 years of experience in the field.
