Job Title: Senior .Net/C# Developer

Senior .Net/C# Developer should be able to understand thoroughly the end-to-end application development methodology, become fully conversant with all tools to provide effective end-to-end application support.

Team: Global scrum team (Poland and USA).

Challenging aspects of this role may include:

1. Ad-hoc system analysis and investigation.
2. Understanding the current applications and business processes, identifying extensions and new functionality.
3. Dynamic priorities depending on the scope objectives.

Your responsibilities:

1. Design and develop enterprise applications (new application for short-term project management).
2. Familiarize with the applications, tools, feeds, databases, and batch files that are being supported by the team.
3. Document, troubleshoot, and isolate problems encountered in Production.
4. The candidate is expected to be an extremely qualified developer of the highest caliber, capable of independently extracting requirements, deducing development tasks, and delivering components.

Our requirements:

1. 5+ years in developing software solutions.
2. Experience in web development, primarily with SPA frameworks (Angular 10+, ReactJs), JavaScript, TypeScript, MVC/WebApi, REST web services.
3. Expert working knowledge of C# and .NET/.NET Core.
4. Expert database skills with any RDBMS systems (primarily SQL Server).
5. Experience developing heavy JavaScript applications (mainly Angular with TypeScript).
6. Good knowledge of HTML and CSS.
7. Debugging JavaScript using browser tools (MS Edge / Chrome).
8. Good knowledge of SOA tools (messaging, web services).
9. Must be a self-starter and able to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
10. Very good English skills.

Nice to have:

1. Experience of working with cloud-hosted applications (e.g. OpenShift).
2. Experience with messaging technologies.
3. Experience with Visual Studio.
4. Experience with Jira.
5. Experience with multi-threading and asynchronous messaging workflows.
6. Writing tests using JavaScript (Jest, Mocha, etc.), Node.js, etc.
7. DevOps awareness, creating and managing CI/CD with TeamCity/Jenkins.
8. Creating tests with Gherkin, NUnit, SpecFlow, Jest, Mocha.
9. Git (Git Flow).
10. Developing Windows applications.
11. Knowledge of the investment banking sector, especially experience in Front Office trading applications would be a huge plus.
